Now a licensed USCG Captain and expert guide, Paul views the maritime lifestyle through a "renaissance" lens—operating not just as a navigator, but as a lifelong student of marine ecosystems, coastal weather patterns, and ocean dynamics. This deep knowledge of the local waters allows Paul to offer more than just a boat ride; he provides a curated, educational immersion into the East End’s unique environment. As the founder of Montauk Wild Oysters Co., Paul specializes in a "Tide-to-Table" philosophy. He holds a commercial shellfishing license and brings a high level of professionalism to every excursion, backed by over 10 years of service as an ocean lifeguard. His safety credentials include American Red Cross certification in CPR/AED for professional rescuers and first aid, ensuring a secure environment for all on-water activities. Whether navigating a 27’ Pursuit Denali for premier sportfishing excursions to Block Island or leading wild oyster foraging and snorkel trips, his approach is grounded in sustainability and craftsmanship. His expertise extends from the helm to the palate, offering guests everything from oyster shucking masterclasses to bespoke culinary catering featuring the freshest local harvest. Having explored coastal environments across the globe—from South Africa to Thailand —Paul brings a world-class perspective back to his home waters.
